The Girodisc A2-049 Rear Brake Rotor Kit is a high-performance, slotted 2-piece brake rotor upgrade designed as a direct replacement for factory PCCB (Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake) rear rotors on select Porsche mid-engine cars. Replacing fragile and expensive ceramic discs with a cast-iron friction ring and lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum hat assembly, this kit significantly improves heat dissipation and brake consistency under high-load driving. Its curved vane design actively pulls cooling air through the rotor, helping resist brake fade during spirited driving or track sessions. Floating mount hardware accommodates thermal growth while maintaining alignment and smooth brake feel.
