The GiroDisc A1-319 2-piece front rotors upgrade transforms the stock iron rotors on a C8 Z06 into a lighter, cooler, and more track-ready braking setup — shedding unsprung and rotating mass while improving cooling under heavy braking. Made with a high-carbon iron rotor ring and lightweight aluminum hat, these rotors deliver consistent, fade-resistant braking performance whether you’re hitting the track, canyon roads, or simply pushing the car hard on the street.

Fitment Notes

• Designed specifically for Corvette C8 Z06 models equipped with the standard iron front brake setup — not compatible with the Z07 carbon-ceramic brake package. 

• Direct bolt-on replacement — mounts to factory hubs and uses OEM calipers, with no modifications or caliper swaps required. 

• Sold as a pair (left + right rotors).

• Two (2) 2-piece floating front brake rotors (left and right) consisting of:

  • 6061-T6 aluminum “hat” (anodized finish) for lightweight mounting.

  • Proprietary high-carbon cast-iron rotor rings, machined in-house to GiroDisc specifications.

• Floating-mount hardware: high-strength alloy steel drive pins (cadmium-plated), hardened washers, and anti-noise spring washers — allowing thermal expansion and preventing noise when cold.

• Rotor type: 2-piece floating rotor (aluminum hat + iron rotor ring) with ventilated, curved-vane internal cooling design.

• Cooling design: 72 curved internal vanes that act like a centrifugal pump — pulling air through the hub to cool the rotor under heavy braking and mitigate fade.

• Minimum service thickness (rotor ring): replace when ring thickness reaches 32 mm (or sooner if cracks propagate to the edge).
