Meet the AWZZ, our best-selling forged wheel for Lucid Air / Tesla Model S / Acura TLX. But what does “forged” mean?

Forging transforms a single piece of premium 6061-T6 aluminum into a wheel that’s both stronger and lighter than traditional cast wheels. We start with a forged billet that’s already been densified for strength, then precisely CNC-machine the final design to tight tolerances — delivering crisp steering feel and confidence-inspiring durability on real roads.

In plain English, forged wheels are the heroes of the wheel world — lighter and stronger. Expect crisper acceleration, more responsive handling, and better durability, all while reducing the load on your suspension.

We validate the AWZZ with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) — a virtual stress test simulating potholes, heavy loads, and real-world forces. That lets us eliminate weak points before production, so you get both style and reliability.

Knurled bead seat: every Atomic Wheels forged model, including AWZZ, features a knurled bead to help prevent tire slip under hard launches and braking — extra confidence when you push your car.

We also employ a lightweight hub architecture with strategic pocketing to remove mass without compromising integrity. These precision cutouts reduce rotational inertia and further enhance responsiveness.

Hardware & install: AWZZ is compatible with OEM lug nuts and TPMS on approved applications. Because our lug wells are tighter than many OEM wheels, we recommend using a thin-wall socket to protect the finish during installation.

Heads-up for 2021+ Model S refresh owners: OEM 19″ wheels are wider (9.5″/10.5″) with staggered tires. Our 19×8.5″ can be run as a square setup on many builds; please contact us for brake/fender clearance guidance.

• Lucid Air on 19×8.5″: 245/45R19 (efficient, OE-like overall diameter).
• Tesla Model S (2012–2020) on 19×8.5″: 245/45R19 square (popular OEM-equivalent fit).
• Acura TLX (2021–2026 Gen 2) on 19×8.5″: 245/40R19 or 255/40R19 (A-Spec/Advance common sizes). For Type-S, 19″ winter/square setups often use 255/40R19 — ask us for recommendations.
